When Brett Goldstein, Jason Segel, and Bill Lawrence were asked how they convinced Harrison Ford to be on the show, Segel said Goldstein originally wanted a “Harrison Ford type” and would audition people who were similar to Ford.

Segel told Goldstein that they should have at least introduced him to Ford first, thinking he would have turned it down immediately, but at least other people would hear that Harrison Ford was being brought in, which would have piqued the interest of other famous actors. Eventually, Goldstein talked to Ford and convinced him to take the role. Goldstein still doesn’t understand what he did to convince him, but he was elated nonetheless.
I actually really enjoyed Shrinking
It’s about a grieving therapist (Jason Segal) who has had enough and starts telling his patients exactly what he really thinks of them. What follows is a really funny series that will have you laughing out loud. The best part of the show is the interactions between Segal’s character and Harrison Ford’s.
I can’t wait to see more of this!
This show has only gotten great reviews for a reason. This show will undoubtedly be up for all sorts of awards and deservedly so. It must be good because it’s already gotten an early renewal for a second season.
