I knew it wouldn’t be as good as the movies, but I didn’t expect it to be so…
There’s no depth, the dialogue is pretty cheesy at times
mediocre. For a moment I thought this was an Amazon production, not HBO. Some of the roles aren’t well-cast; not because the actors are bad, but because they’re just not right for the role.
There’s no real special effects, it feels a bit low budget
There’s too much going on in the first episode, and they jump from one scene to the next like they’re rushing. Some of the scenes make me wonder why they even bother with them. Not sure what kind of camera they used, but the shots are too basic.
